Windows 10 Temporary Profile
Temporary Profile Windows 10
In Windows 10, 8, and 7, the notification that you are
logged in with a temporary profile and "You cannot access your files,
files in this profile will be deleted on exit" is a problem. Due to this
error, users may not be able to access some of your desktop icons and files.
When you log on to your Windows profile, all of your profile
information and settings are retrieved from certain registry entries and
configuration files saved on your hard drive. Corrupting a single file can
prevent windows from accessing it and log you into a temporary profile you can
use, but a small delay in reading your account profile can also have the same
results. Any changes you make to this temporary profile are not saved, so a fresh
profile is loaded each time you sign in.
The cause of the corruption could be a recently installed
update or software or an incorrect shutdown of your computer.
This guide describes how to solve this temporary profile windows 10 problem and log in using a standard profile.

Once you’re in Safe Mode, use your PC for a couple of
minutes and restart your PC again to see if you can log in with your profile.

be one other that is to the temporary profile you are currently using.
2. To confirm, click on any SID key to
highlight it. Now in the right pane, next to ProfileImagePath in the Data row,
it will be “C:\Users\’Your Inaccessible Profile Name’”. Click on all SID keys

name next to ProfileImagePath EXCEPT the one with .bak at in the end. Confirm
the message and click OK.

8. Navigate to the “S-1-5-21..some long
